What this is and isn’t
Reality Unreal is not a self-help newsletter – at least not in the usual sense.
We’re not here to optimize your morning routine, streamline your goals, or help you build your dream life.
We won’t judge your failures, and we won’t try to boost your productivity.
We won’t pretend that one more hack is going to save you.
We know that our methods of trying to improve experience for us are seriously flawed. We keep thinking: “If I just understand a bit more, fix a bit more, optimize a bit more... Then maybe I’ll finally arrive.” You will never arrive that way. This is the root cause of most psychological pain and suffering.
But we also know:
Life does not have to be this way.
We want to offer a space where nothing needs fixing – but a lot can move.
Sometimes just a well-placed question at the right time can change everything. Sometimes it’s a little more work. And sometimes, it’s simply the courage to pause and ask what you’ve never questioned before. Often things are not the way we perceive them to be and sometimes things unfold exactly when nothing is forced.
This isn’t a cult. No final answers. No dogma. No “one path.”
You won’t find The Truth™ here.
But you may find yourself stopping, noticing, loosening – Seeing things from a different perspective.
This isn’t abstract philosophy for the sake of clever arguments either.
It’s an experimental field covering hard to accept truths, spirituality, the nature of reality and desire and much more.
This is input, guiding and practice, from the edge of reality – and a quiet space to stop trying to fix anything, including yourself.
Our Vision
Reality Unreal is a space for being and exploring. An invitation to what reality might be offering – outside of the usual frameworks. And maybe enjoy the process that that exploration kicks loose and find a deeper kind of joy.
Reality Unreal wants to open new perspectives on reality, perception, and the human condition. The project aims to shift consciousness and make spiritual depth tangible – free from dogma, commercialization, or superficial self-optimization.
Reality Unreal is a space for exploration, designed for both mind and soul. Through content that engages thinking, feeling, and experience, it enables a deeper understanding of reality beyond familiar boundaries and can reduce suffering immensely by changing how we relate to experience itself.
What’s Coming in Fall 2025
Reality Unreal is about to unfold. In the coming weeks, we’ll begin sharing podcast episodes, practices, dialogues, and inquiries that question what we believe about ourselves and the world.
